Important: Single Touch Payroll (STP) Reporting
Following consultation with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) we have made an important change to STP report processing. This change is mostly internal but will manifest itself as a shortened Interaction Description when viewing the report summary grid in the STP Message Centre.
The change is required to ensure employee YTD totals are correctly assigned within the ATO’s backend systems. The change has been tested and approved by the ATO.
All payroll clients are encouraged to install this update before executing the next Produce Pays. It must be installed before the end of the financial year.
